Welcome to our website. The scientific work of the empirical economics team is based on the use of empirical and experimental methods in different research fields, e.g. behavioral and experimental economics, neuroeconomics, health economics and behavioral finance. At the Institute of Social Medicine and Health Economics our team takes responsibility for research and apprenticeship in health economics. The aim of our research is to perform cost-effectiveness-analyses and cost-analyses to provide evidence regarding the patient-relevant benefit of innovative health technology products and therapies.
